CUSTOMER SERVICE/INSIDE SALES REP

Great Lakes Filters is a Detroit area based manufacturer and distributor of filters and filtration related products. We have been in business for over 70 years serving the automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries with process filtration and pollution control products. Great Lakes Filters is part of the Acme Group, LLC.

 

The Acme Group consists of three divisions – Acme Mills, Fairway Products and Great Lakes Filters.  Collectively, these three companies work in the manufacture and wholesaling of textiles and fabrics for automotive, furniture and filtration applications.  The Acme Group is a family owned business since 1917. 

 

Customer Service / Inside Sales:

 

The Entry-level, Technical Sales Representative must be willing to learn and grow in the filtration industry. Ideal candidate will be a hard-working team player looking for a challenging and rewarding career. The Sales Rep will develop quotes and act as the liaison between customers, quality control, salespeople and customer service. We will train the candidate that is motivated and fits with our organization.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

  1. Learning Plex ERP system to input quotes, orders and other transactions.
  2. Field incoming customer technical calls/chats and build relationships.
  3. Learn to solve the customer’s needs by learning how to specify the optimal filtration solution to a wide variety of applications.
  4. Produce professional product and program quotations.
  5. Follow up with existing customers and existing quotes.
  6. Mine existing customer list to increase customer spend.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Education

  1. Bachelor degree in Science or Business
  1. Experience with industrial filtration systems and/or industrial distribution a plus.
